The District has quite a plan for October 3rd from 10AM – 1PM! Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy Miller Woods.
Plant Sale
- Come get your plant fix and get some new plants in the ground before the winter rains.
- We will have a variety of native plants available for sale!
Harvest Exchange
- This year, we are teaming up with Edible Landscapes of Yamhill County and their annual Fall Harvest Exchange! If you have extra fruits or veggies, bring them to trade or donate.
- Edible Landscapes is also bringing their ever-popular apple cider press! Enjoy some non-alcoholic cider while you peruse the veggies and native plants.
- Pick up a pumpkin! Early October is plenty of time to carve and enjoy your pumpkin before Halloween. Pumpkins are priced by size, and all proceeds go to support Edible Landscapes and their mission of improving food security in Yamhill County, one garden at a time.
Seed Swap
- Bring your seeds and trade with friends, old and new, at the seed swap!
- Please bring your seeds in a labeled container/envelope.
- We will have some envelopes available for you to use to take new seeds home, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
- Native plant seeds and edible plant seeds are welcome, but no invasive species please!
- The seed swap is free at the discretion of people who bring seeds.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee the seeds at the seed swap. It’s impossible for us to completely keep track of who is bringing what, if the seeds in the container are labeled accurately, or the age/viability of the seeds. Participation in the seed swap is at your own risk.
