Conservation Book Club

The District book club is back! There are a couple of changes this year. We will be meeting at Miller Woods, in the conference room if the weather is bad or out on the porch if the weather is nice.

This book club will run from October through March. Check out the full list of upcoming books!

We will meet on November 8th at 2pm in Miller Woods conference room. The book of the month is Bicycling with Butterflies by Sara Dykman. The local library system has a few copies, and always check local bookshops if you’d like to purchase a copy!

We encourage all who are interested to attend, even if you haven’t read the book. You could check out a webinar from the Monarch Joint Venture (they have an ongoing series with a wide variety of great topics!), listen to a podcast interview with the author, or just learn a little about monarchs from the National Wildlife Federation.

And even if you don’t do any of those things — please attend if you’re interested! We always have great conversations and everyone is an important part of it.

We are adding a virtual option this year. In person attendance is great, but if you’d rather join us virtually, please use this link: https://meet.google.com/gmq-mhhp-ibp
