The District book club is back! There are a couple of changes this year. We will be meeting at Miller Woods, in the conference room if the weather is bad or out on the porch if the weather is nice (we could even walk and talk if we want!).
This book club will run from October through March. Check out the full list of upcoming books!
The first meeting of this season will be on October 18th at 2pm in Miller Woods conference room. The book of the month is Is A River Alive? by Robert Macfarlane. The local library system has a few copies, and always check local bookshops if you’d like to purchase a copy!
We encourage all who are interested to attend, even if you haven’t read the book. If you’d prefer, you can listen to a podcast with the author, read a shorter article on a similar topic, or check out a video from Follow The Water.
And even if you don’t do any of those things — please attend if you’re interested! We always have great conversations and everyone is an important part of it.
We are adding a virtual option this year. In person attendance is great, but if you’d rather join us virtually, please use this link: https://meet.google.com/gmq-mhhp-ibp
