The March Weed of the Month is Yellowbush Lupine (Lupinus arboreus). This species can be tricky to identify. The main things to look for are location (this species prefers areas with sandy soils), and growth type (it gets noticeably more shrubby and woody-stemmed than most other species of lupine). Keep an eye out, and help up spread the word, not the weed!
