The Xerces Society has reopened their popular Habitat Kit program! This year, it does appear that they are including kits for the Willamette Valley region, including riparian habitats (for stream areas), hedgerows (for upland areas, including farm-adjacent spaces), and wildflower grassland habitats (for grasslands and prairies). Each kit includes around 40 native plants that support native pollinators and ecosystems.
This is a limited, application-based opportunity. Applications are open from February 23rd to April 10th. If you would like help with the application process, feel free to reach out to Brooke Karasch, Outreach Coordinator, at [email protected] or directly to the Xerces Society at [email protected].
