Chamaenerion angustifolium
This species produces bright pink flowers enjoyed by hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. It is often one of the first species to show up again after a fire or other disturbance, hence the common name “fireweed.” It spreads vigorously via tiny, fluffy seeds.
