NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Yamhill Soil and Water Conservation District will hold a public hearing regarding the proposed acquisition of a conservation easement on, over, and across certain real property located at 18155 NW Baker Creek Rd, McMinnville, OR 97128 (Property). The hearing will be held at the Yamhill County Public Works conference room, located at 2060 NE Lafayette Avenue, McMinnville, OR 97128, at 7:30 a.m. on the 14th day of October, 2026, during the regularly scheduled board meeting.  

The District proposes to acquire a conservation easement on, over, and across the Property, by virtue of assignment from the Oregon Department of Agriculture.  The conservation easement is dated January 9, 2002, recorded January 24, 2002, as Instrument No. 200201741, Records of Yamhill County, Oregon.  In accordance with ORS 271.735, the District will receive comments on the public’s interest in the District’s acquisition of the conservation easement.
