It’s that time again for the Great Plastic Roundup in McMinnville! Gather all your hard-to-recycle plastic and bring it to this pop-up event on February 7th at McMinnville Covenant Church, 2155 NW 2nd Street in McMinnville. Learn more at the link below:
Doors are open from 10am – 1pm on February 7th. Please note the new location! Pop-up collections will now be held at the McMinnville Covenant Church at 2155 NW 2nd Street in McMinnville.
Accepted items are straws, utensils, bread bag clips, plastic screw-on or flip top caps, CD and cassette cases, cello tape dispensers, clear #1 PET plastics (no color), #2 HDPE plastics, #4 LDPE plastics, #5 PP plastics, and #6 plastics.
Please note: #2 HDPE and #5 PP plastic bottles are collected curbside with Recology.
All other listed plastics above are not collected at curbside service.
Items must be clean and dry and sorted by category. Combine smaller bags into a large paper grocery bag. Cost is $4 per full grocery bag. Cash or checks are accepted.
Unfortunately, there will not be any Styrofoam collected this time as the whole State of Oregon is not recycling Styrofoam – please stay tuned for Styrofoam recycling updates.
