The District is starting a new book & film club with McMinnville Public Library! This book club will run from November through March.
The next meeting will be on December 17th, 2024 at 6pm, in the Carnegie Room. The December book will be Tribal Histories of the Willamette Valley by local author David G. Lewis. The library system
has a couple of copies of the book available for checkout. Always look around and see where you can find the best deals if you’d like to purchase a copy, and support your local bookstores and libraries!
If you don’t have time to read an entire book, but would still like to attend, please do! There’s a brief interview with the author you could read instead, or a podcast conversation from 2019 with him you could listen to.
Future books and documentaries will be decided by the group, so come with options for what you’d like to discuss next!
