The District has started a book & film club with McMinnville Public Library! This book club will run from November through March.
The next meeting will be on February 18th at 6pm, in the Carnegie Room. The February book will be The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer. The library system has a couple of copies of the book available for checkout. Always look around and see where you can find the best deals if you’d like to purchase a copy, and support your local bookstores and libraries!
It’s a short book this month; just 112 pages. But if you don’t have time to read the book, the author was recently interviewed by Oregon Public Broadcasting. We encourage you to attend the book club even if you haven’t read the book, listened to the interview, or heard of the author. We welcome all who are interested!
