Conservation Book Club is meeting on December 13th, from 2pm to 3:30pm, in the Miller Woods conference room. Check out the full list of upcoming books!

The book of the month is Tenacious Beasts: Wildlife Recoveries That Change How We Think About Animals by Christopher J. Preston. The local library system has a few copies, and always check local bookshops if you’d like to purchase a copy!

We encourage all who are interested to attend, even if you haven’t read the book. You could read an article from the American Bird Conservancy about bald eagles, peruse a StoryMap about the Oregon chuc recovery right here in the Willamette Valley, or to tie in to last month’s book, listen to a short podcast about monarch butterflies.

And even if you don’t do any of those things — please attend if you’re interested! We always have great conversations and everyone is an important part of it.

We are adding a virtual option this year. In person attendance is great, but if you’d rather join us virtually, please use this link: https://meet.google.com/gmq-mhhp-ibp
