The District has a book club with McMinnville Public Library! This book club will run from October through March.
The next meeting will be on December 16th at 6pm, in the Carnegie Room at the McMinnville Public Library. The book is Halcyon Journey: In Search of the Belted Kingfisher by Marina Richie.
We encourage all who are interested to attend, even if you haven’t read the book. You could also look around and maybe read a short blog post on the author’s website. Or try listening to a podcast episode about kingfishers. If neither of those quite suit you, there’s also a recorded webinar with the author talking about belted kingfishers!
And even if you don’t do any of those things — please attend if you’re interested! We always have great conversations and everyone is an important part of it.
