The District has a book club with McMinnville Public Library! This book club will run from October through March.
The next meeting will be on November 18th at 6pm, in the Carnegie Room at the McMinnville Public Library. The book is Saving Tarboo Creek by Scott Freeman. The library system has a couple of copies of the book available for checkout. Always look around and see where you can find the best deals if you’d like to purchase a copy, and support your local bookstores and libraries!
We encourage all who are interested to attend, even if you haven’t read the book. You can learn about Tarboo Creek Wildlife Preserve, or listen to a podcast with the author. And even if you don’t do any of those things — please attend if you’re interested! We always have great conversations and everyone is an important part of it.
Future books and documentaries will be decided by the group, so come with options for what you’d like to discuss next!
