The District is bringing back the book club with McMinnville Public Library! This book club will run from October through March.
The next meeting will be on October 21st at 6pm, in the Carnegie Room at the McMinnville Public Library. The book is Cascadia Field Guide by Elizabeth Bradfield et al. The library system has a couple of copies of the book available for checkout. Always look around and see where you can find the best deals if you’d like to purchase a copy, and support your local bookstores and libraries!
We encourage all who are interested to attend. If you don’t have time to read the whole book, you can read a story by one of the editors, listen to a podcast including another of the editors, or watch a video with an editor. All three of the editors of this book have a wide variety of materials available for free online, so we encourage you to engage with their work in a way that works for you!
Future books and documentaries will be decided by the group, so come with options for what you’d like to discuss next!
