Join GYWC in the Creeks November & December for Coho Salmon Spawning Field Days

Click to subscribe to the GYWC’s Coho Field Day Email List to receive notices (Nov – Dec) of opportunities to join GYWC staff and trained volunteers in the creeks to look for spawning Coho salmon and their habitat.  Timing is weather dependent and requires some good rains to bring the Coho up from the ocean and Willamette river.  You can also check our Facebook Events Page for updates as Field Days are posted.
Wading Gear available to borrow in Mens Sizes 7 – 13

Want to get the family out to the creeks to look for Coho?
Click to inquire about scheduling a family-friendly visit to one of our Coho spawning survey areas where we can walk alongside the creek instead of in the water (or if you have your own youth-sized wading gear or rubber boots – then let’s plan to get in one of the smaller creeks!)
