SUMMARY:Conservation Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Conservation Book Club is meeting on December 13th\, from 2pm to 3:30pm\, in the Miller Woods conference room. Check out the full list of upcoming books! \nThe book of the month is Tenacious Beasts: Wildlife Recoveries That Change How We Think About Animals by Christopher J. Preston. The local library system has a few copies\, and always check local bookshops if you’d like to purchase a copy! \nWe encourage all who are interested to attend\, even if you haven’t read the book. You could read an article from the American Bird Conservancy about bald eagles\, peruse a StoryMap about the Oregon chuc recovery right here in the Willamette Valley\, or to tie in to last month’s book\, listen to a short podcast about monarch butterflies. \nAnd even if you don’t do any of those things — please attend if you’re interested! We always have great conversations and everyone is an important part of it. \nWe are adding a virtual option year. In person attendance is great\, but if you’d rather join us virtually\, please check back for the link the day of book club!
