Virtual Native Plant Workshop

Join the district and partners for a Virtual Native Plant Workshop. Amy Bartow, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Plant Production Manager; and Jeanie Taylor, Oregon Master Naturalist, will share information about choosing and planting the perfect native plants for your yard.

In this virtual workshop, you will learn how to identify your soil types and pick the best native plants for your yard and garden. You’ll also hear about some of our favorite natives, why they are important, and where to plant them.

  • 2:05 – 2:30 ~ Assessing site conditions, overview of plant selection process – presented by Jeanie Taylor (Yamhill County Master Gardeners)

  • 2:55 – 3:00 ~ Where to get native plants, upcoming native plant sales
  • 3:00 – 3:30 ~ Q&A
