2018 Annual Meeting & Dinner

Be sure and mark your calendar for the District’s 65th Annual Dinner on Wednesday, November 7  from 5:30 – 8:30 PM at the McMinnville Community Center.

The evening will begin with a social hour and silent auction followed by a delicious dinner buffet of fresh, local cuisine prepared by The Rogue Gourmet Catering Company.  Buffet style meal provides options for dietary restricted selections.

We invite you to enjoy this evening’s special guest, Dr. Philip Mote. He is the Director of OCS and Oregon Climate Change Research Institute , as well as a professor in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences. He is the co-leader of the NOAA-funded Climate Impacts Research Consortium for the Northwest, and also of the Northwest Climate Science Center for the US Department of the Interior. Dr. Mote earned a BA in Physics from Harvard University and a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Washington. Dr. Mote will address all things weather and especially in Oregon and locally.
