Grows 2 to 3’ tall, with white blooms late summer to early fall.  Prefers full sun, drought tolerant, upland prairie plant, can be found in wet prairies. Threatened species in Washington State, key plant for restoration sites as a late-season pollinator resource, great for butterflies.
