Forest Health Improvement

Do you have a forest stand that is overstocked?  A weedy stand?  Would you like to work with a forester on a management plan for your forest stand?  There is funding available to assist landowners in restoring structural diversity to monoculture timber stands. This can be done through the use of active management to thin stands, encourage healthy forest soils, and to diversify species composition through planting.  The focus area includes high priority areas in seven counties with highest priority in the Yamhill County Coast Range.

The maps below indicate program funding areas.
